Funeral Service For
LEONARD GEORGE JERVIS, 92
of #41 Dawson Street, Danottage Estates, will be held on Friday, 20th October, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St Joseph Catholic Church, Boyd Road. Officiating will be Msgr Alfred Culmer, assisted by other ministers of the clergy. Cremation will follow.
Leonard George Jervis is preceded in death by his parents and son, Leonard Adolphus I, Irene and Leonard Adolphus II, respectively.
Further, he is survived by the mother of his children and lifelong friend: Patricia Jervis; his four children: Lena, Anthony, Marva and Michael; daughter-in-law: Naomi Lockhart; nephew: Geoffrey Watkins; and grandchildren: Lennox, Theodore, Alexis, Kaylen, Carlin, Kenyon, Joey, Jeremy, Lynette, Iona, Aftan, Jermaine, Samuel and Deborah Gibbs, and many great grandchildren and family including “adopted” daughters: Theresa Williams and Margaret Dillet and adopted sons: Martin Kemp, George Sweeeting, Jr., Rodger Gomez, Sr., Philip Ferguson (of Texas, U.S.A.) and Jonathon Pratt. As well as, numerous friends, including Eleanor Elliott and family, Roslyn Johnson and family, Anita Cooper and family, family of Dorothy Rodgers (late), family of Delores Sherman (late), the family of Randolph Coakely (late), family of Gurth Knowles (late), the families of old Nassau Street: Huylers, McQuays, Smiths, Vanderpools, Armbristers, Bethels, Simons, Gomezs, Mackeys, Minus’, Thompsons, Gibsons, Thurstons and Munroes, including his dedicated and esteemed physicians: Drs. M. Perry Gomez, Herbert Orlander, Percival McNeil, Robin Roberts and Norad Morgan.
Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians #44 Nassau Street on Thursday from 10am to 6pm and at the church on Friday from 10am until service time.
