Dorothy May Cooper, 77
of Augusta Street North will be held on Friday, September 29th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. The New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Independence Drive, Nassau, N.P., The Bahamas. Officiating is the Rev Dr. Everette J. Brown assisted by Rev. Derek Munroe, Rev Cecil Higgs, Minister Sharon Cleare, Elder Viola Roberts and other Ministers of the Gospel. Internment in the Southern Cemetery, Spikenard and Cowpen Roads, Nassau.
Left to cherish her memories are her Sons: Michael Lockhart and Leon Cooper; Daughters: Gertrude McPhee and Betty Mae Davis; Daughter-in-law: Karen Lockhart; Grandchildren: Jamal & Quincy Lockhart, Pearline & Earnicia Davis, Gastina & Stanlisha Higgs, Kevin Hepburn, Melbert Munroe, Kendal Capron, Kaytura Patterson, Leonique Cooper, Kirkland, Dion Sr., Donnell, Deandra, Swawn,Carla, Carlene, Cardinal McPhee; numerous Great Grandchildren too numerous to mention; Brothers: Kenneth Knowles (West Palm Beach) & George Fernander (Fort Lauderdale); Nephews: Cedric & Herbert Nesbitt, Carlton Sweeting (Davidson Florida); Other relatives and friends including: The Cooper Family, Rhoda Spence & Family, Rachel & Augusta Street family; Special thanks are extended to: The New Bethlehem Church Family, Doctors Butler & Holiday from The Princess Margaret Hospital. Friends may pay respects on Thursday from 12:00 noon. to 5:00 p.m. at Kemuel Cox Funeral & Cremation Centre #12 Arundel Street East on Friday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service.
