Funeral Service for Ms. Ismae Lorraine Sweeting, age 74 years, of Lightbourne Avenue, and formerly of Nassau Street, will be held on Friday , August 31st, 2018 10:30 am, at St. John Native Baptist Cathedral, Meeting Street. Officiating will be Bishop Carrington Pinder, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel . Interment will follow in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.
She was predeceased by her parents James and Ella Major and Calesta and James Balfour, sister: Brenda Balfour; Brothers: Nehemiah Balfour and Loxley Balfour.
Left to cherish her memories are her: Sons: Ricardo, Clint and Richard Sweeting; Grand Children: Richard Sweeting Jr., Ricardo Sweeting Jr., Devon Sweeting, Erica Johnson, Britney, Gabby, Clintease and Lilymae Sweeting; Great Grand Children: Rashea and Calis; Aunts: Ida Miller and Isadora Burrows; Nephews: James, Eric, Kirkland, Dwight and Kenny; Nieces: Linda, Delphine, Patrice, Jennidy, Brenda, Kalesta, Desiree and Kenisha; Brother-in-law: Livingstone Sweeting; Great Grand nieces and nephews: too many to mention; Cousins including: Vernita Adderley and family, Jennimae Bain and family, Marlean Lundy and family, Floraine Johnson and family, Betty Bethel and family, Sandra Kemp and family, Petrona Johnson and family, Victoria Gibson and family, Anne Greene Colebrook and family, Rev. Basil Damianos and family, Patrick Kemp and family, Charles Kemp and family, Marilyn Thompson and family, The Gibsons, Green, Adderley, Johnson, Miller, Henry Burrows and family, Edney Burrows and family, Desilean Gibson and family, the Senior Frog’s family, and the entire Nassau Street community.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd, Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
