Funeral service for Mary Jane Woodside, 76 yrs., a resident of Acadian Place, Golden Gates #2 & formerly of Fresh Creek, Andros, will be held at New Bethany Baptist Church, Key West Street, on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00
a.m.  Officiating will be Bishop Victor Cooper Jr., JP. Cremation follows.
Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her four sons: Kirkwood (preceded her in death) Pedro, Francis and Mark Smith; one daughter: Marilyn Smith (preceded her in death); one daughter-in-law: Shandy Hall-Smith; eighteen grandchildren: Marco Charlton, Tameka, Deangelo, Lafran, Franscine, Pedranique, Pedro Jr., Pedron, Shakeem, Shamar and Marcellus Smith, Valentino Elliott-Smith, Junaan, Vandyke, Vernon, Vernard Brown, Francheska Cleare, and Pedra Taylor; two grand-daughters-in-law: Tyra Charlton and Georgina Smith; two grand-sons-in-law: Arnold Taylor and Samson Cleare and Twelve-plus great-grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in Death by Charlie and Mildred Woodside (Parents), Joseph, Shedrick and Samuel (Brothers) and, Justina Rolle (Sister). Nieces: Elouise Woodside-McKenzie, Sherry Rolle-Hodge, Laverne Woodside-Saunders, Bernadette Woodside-Hutcheson;Nephews: Barry Rolle, Robbie Harris and many more; numerous other relatives and special friends including: Bishop Victor Cooper Jr., Jestina Rolle, The St. Louise family, The Hall family, The Dorsett family, The King and Pratt families of Port Howe-Cat Island, The New Bethany Baptist family, The Atlantis family, The Golden Gates #2 Community and many others.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
