A funeral service for the late Norma Angela Dillet-Allen, M.B.E., aged 86, of Johnstone Avenue, Stapledon Gardens, Nassau, The Bahamas, who died peacefully at her residence, on Saturday 26th May 2018, will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Shirley Street, Nassau, on Saturday 2nd June, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.
Father Anselm Russell assisted by Deacon Keith Roberts will officiate and interment will follow in Eastern Cemetery, Dowdeswell Street, Nassau.
She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Edwin Allen; her parents, Fredrick Foster Dillet and Winifred Gertrude Dillet nee Clarke; brothers, Mr. Jean Dillet, Mr. John Dillet, Mr. Bernard Dillet and Mr. Tony Dillet; sisters, Mrs. Winifred Isaacs, Mrs. Hazel Stevenson-Moore, Ms. Daisy Dillet, Mrs. Phyllis Harris and Mrs. Shirley Skees.
She is survived by her sons, Niven F.N. Allen and Martin F.H. Allen; daughter, Hyacinth W.M. Allen; granddaughters, Anya H.G. Allen and Solangé A.M. Allen; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Sherry D. Allen; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Beryl Dillet and Mrs. Melly Dillet and many other relatives and close friends.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Kemp's Funeral Home Limited, Palmdale Avenue, Palmdale, on Thursday, form 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and at the Church, on Saturday, from 9:30 p.m., until service time.
