Funeral service for Lillian Ethlyn Rolle, 87 yrs., a resident of #9 Montgomery Ave. & formerly of North Mastic Point, Andros, will be held at New Covenant Baptist Church, East West Highway, on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be The Reverend Trajean Jadorette, assisted by Bishop Wilber Rolle & Bishop Anthony Roker. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
She was predeceased by four (4) sons, Vincent, Reginald, Cedric (Junior) and Kendal, One (1) sister, Inez Rolle-Mason, One (1) brother, Vincent Rolle and son-in-law Alfred Bridgewater.
She will be sadly and dearly missed by her three (3) daughters: Stephanie Newton Mathurin, (Emmanuel), Linda Sears Bridgewater and Wendy Colebrooke. One (1) Jeffery Simon, (Candice), Two (2) adopted sons, Bishop Anthony Roker and Mr. Lester Turnquest. Three (3) sisters Jereline Rolle Gaitor, Sally Rolle Dill and Millicent Rolle Miller. One (1) Sister-in-law, Merle Rolle. Twenty one (21) grandchildren, Charles Vincent Thompson Jr., Omar Rolle (Lithera), Adwar Davis (Shikera), Jamal Johnson, Shenika Bridgewater Nagelbush, Dominique Hart, Pedro, Jerome (Arasay), Jeffery Jr. (Isadora), Candia, Nikeil and Justin Simon. Nikita Taylor, Reginald Thompson Jr., Rokkia Davis, Deseree Brown of Baltimore, Maryland and Misansie Mathurin. Five (5) great-grand children, Omar Rolle Jr., Kaiden and Kailyn Davis, Jerome Simon Jr., Kayla Whyte Simon and Sapphire Simms. Fifteen (15) nieces and nephews, Ms. Lorranie Wallace of Baltimore, Maryland, Natasha (Kevin) West and Steven (Aihlyn) Mason of Miami, Florida, Tanya (Kevin) Mulcahy of Philadelphia, Inga Morris, Nickla, Ricardo, Darrell, Keno and Karish Rolle, Pandora Wilson and Christine Adderley.
