Funeral Service for Louise Elva Bodie, age 83 years, a resident of Faith Gardens, Nassau, and formerly of The Hermitage, Exuma, will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at St. James Native Baptist Church, St. James Road. Officiating will be Pastor Wellington Collie, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Memories will forever be held in the hearts of her: Daughters: Ruth Bain, Bernadette & Cindy Bodie and Allison Major; Brother: Sydney Bodie; Sisters: Carolyn Bodie and Beatrice Munroe; Sons-in-laws: Pastor Dennis Bain and Terry Major; Sister-in-law: Dorothea Bodie; Grandchildren: Charles, Teneil & Renea Saunders, CPL 3374 Kendal Campbell, Kendera Rolle, Kendice & Andron Williams, Kameron Seymour, Denea Cummings, Katrina Seymour, Rochinie Bodie, Trevino Burrows, Kenton Seymour, Tavanta Glinton, Terria Major, Aliah Major and Tamia Major; 15 Great grandchildren including: Keiran Butler, Royce Huyler Jr., Teyshaun Deveaux, Kezia Saunders, D’Shand Armbrister and Khai Farrington; Uncle: Freddy Morley; Nieces and Nephews including: Tyrone & Mary Collie, Elsie Mae McIntosh, Threva & Kevin Armbrister, Angela Collie, Pastor Kevin & Alice Collie, Pamela & Collins Rolle, Gena Collie, Minister Meredith & Monique Munroe, Ian, Bridgette, Shaniska and Shivad Bodie, Michelle Bodie, Debbie Sawyer, Dina Bassett (Turks & Caicos) and Alvin Garland (Turks & Caicos); Numerous grandnieces and nephews including: Anastacia Greenslade; Other relatives and friends including: Gloria Dorsette, Joyann McDonald, The Bodie Family, The Musgrove Family, The Barr, Clarke, Ferguson, Douglas, and Morley Family, Pastor Wellington Collie and Rev. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd, Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads, on Friday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and at the church on Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
