Funeral service for Ruthmae Williams, 73 yrs., a resident of Hamilton Road, Mt. Pleasant Village & formerly of Richmond Hill, Exuma, will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Lyford Cay, on Saturday, November 10. 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be The Reverend Kendrick J. Forbes. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Left to Cherished Memories are her adopted mother: Verlee Curtis.  Adopted sister: Sharon Moss. Five children:  Lucy Longley, Pamela, Karen, Janice and Jacob Garvin Williams. One adopted daughter:  Kendra Washington. Twenty grand children: Jermaine Brown, Dario Bain (Predeceased), Lauryn McSweeney, Dennis  Longley, Jamaal, Deborah, and Phylicia Williams, Albert, Kavon and Aaliyah Rox. Alicia Morison, Marissa Rox(Evans Aneska),  Tamia Francois, Daniel Dawkins, Darnell Dawkins-Nottage (Valanie Nottage), Janiyah Williams, Dianzo Bethel and Bradley Wright.  Seven great grand children: Naveah and Tristan Aneska, Valanie Nottage jr, D’asja Whitfield, Naomi Wallace, Gabriel Simmons, and Nahsir Hill.S even nieces: Charmaine Kena Smith, Ann Major, Priscilla Ellen Neilly, Janice Smith, Shirlene Damas (Marcel Damas), Tanya and Samantha Rolle. Two nephews: Joseph Rolle (Cecile Rolle),  Johannison Rolle ( Austine Rolle) God son: Marcus Williams. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
