Funeral Service for the Late Fr. Irwin Vincint McSweeney aged 84 years of #13 Dean’s Lane will be held on Saturday October 6th 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, West Hill Street. Officiating will be Fr. Glen Nixon assisted by other ministers of the Clergy. Cremation was held.
Irwin was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years RoseMary Hilda McSweeney nee Stamp, parents John Ambrose and Isabel McSweeney nee Knowles, siblings Louise, Robert, Frederick and Jerome McSweeney.
Left to cherish his memories are his Sister-In-Law: Leigh Stamp(Australia); Nephews: Sean Stamp(Australia), John McSweeney, Marcel and Sean McSweeney(Ft Lauderdale), Keith McSweeney, and Elijah McSweeney; Nieces: Rachael Stamp-Vivian(Australia), Maryann McSweeney, Jennifer McSweeney, and Marcia McSweeney(Ft Lauderdale); Cousins: Jill Brown(Canada), Carmell McSweeney-Jennings, Stephanie, Rudolph, Terrance, Andrew, Glen and James McSweeney, Kolamae McSweeney-Pedican, Juliette McSweeney-Mackey and Grachion Sands, Edward McSweeney, Kim McSweeney Keisha McSweeney Delores Simms, Marva Patrice, and Neil Michael Brathwaite; Godchildren: Simon Rolle, Julian Reid, Carol Roach, Verron Darville. A number of grandnieces, grandnephews, and other friends too numerous to mention but including: Claire Brown, Amanda Drummond, Idris Reid & family, Stephanie & Nigel Bowe, Yvonne Symonette, Astrid Adderley, Shirley McDonald-Braynen, Arthur Sweeting(pre-deceased), William ‘Willie’ Miller, Retired Assist.
