Funeral Service for Elva Eulees Thompson Minnis age 90 years, of Lancaster Road, will be held on Saturday, April, 13th 2019, at10:30 a.m. at Ebenezer Methodist Church, East Shirley Street. Officiating will be Rev. Milton Lightbourne-Pastor. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery, East Shirley Street.
Her survivors include: Her stepson, Roosevelt Carey; Nieces and Nephews: Rachel Thompson, Basil “Barney” Thompson, Cynthia Stewart, Elizabeth Brown, Doreen Thompson, Alphonso Thompson; Eloise Strachan, Godfrey, Cedric “Cega”, and Deborah Thompson who took care of her in the last few months; Carolyn Thompson, Warren “Doc”, and Locksley “Potcake” Thompson, Theresa Cooper, Kirkwood, Antoine “Bam”, and Marsha Thompson, Allison Johnson; Roswell Thompson, Cheryl Thompson; Patsy McKinney, Bishop Samuel Thompson, Derek, Phillip, Andrew and Basil Thompson; Ena Stubbs, Theodore, Paul, Andrew Thompson and Beatrice Gordon; Althea, George, David and Kendal Rolle; Maria Bain; Elise Delancy and Jeremy Delancy; and their Spouses and the Spouses of those who predeceased her; Numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews; Goddaughter: Delison Headley; Numerous cousins: especially Deacon Oral and Geneva Pinder and The Thompson, Sweeting, and Delancy Families of Deep Creek, Eleuthera, Naomi Thurston, The Whymns Family; Friends: especially Louise Sutherland, Minerva McKinney, Alfreda Edwards, the Lyford Cay Girls, Edith Charlow, Felix Whyte, Henry Ferguson and Joan Patrice Thompson; The Deep Creek and Bannerman Town Eleuthera Family; The Ebenezer Methodist Church Family; and her dog, Bernie.
