Funeral service for the late Robert Walton Simmons Jr. affectionately called “Da Breadman” age 36 years of Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Baptist Church, Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas. Officiating will be Rev. Eric Johnson. Interment will follow in Big Bay Cemetery, Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera.
Left to cherish his memories are his parents: Robert and Joy Simmons. Special friend Sacha Ros One sister Robertha Hepburn RBPF reservist. Three brothers A/M Joevone Simmons Sr. of the RBDF. Joel and Johnathan Simmons. Brother in law Defidel Hepburn. Sisters in law Kendia, Merlene and Lakia Simmons. Nephews Marvin, Vandico, Joshua and Jacob Morley, Defidel Hepburn Jr, Joel Simmons Jr, and Joevone Simmons Jr. One niece, Danyella Hepburn. Aunts Cheryl, Juliette, Yvette and Patrice Elliott, Paulette Ewing, Raquel Young, and Inez Minnis. Uncles-William, Willard and Dominic Elliott, Floyd Ewing. Kervin Rolle, Kirk and Freddy Simmons. Grand uncles - Robert Hall and Noel Minnis of Miami fla. Cousins Emma Elliot and Willard Elliot Jr, Tyockin Thurston, Philip Goddard, Giendira, Edwin, and Jemery Simmons, Denise Johnson, Floyd and Meko Ewing, Kervin, Max, Dylan and Keyanna Rolle. God children Demario Forbes and Kaypereanna Johnson. Other relatives and friends including but not limited to Father John Johnson, Janet Cambridge, Judith Knowles, Dorin Cleare, Netta, Carla Hepburn, Ean Butler, Ephesus Bethel, Joey Butterfield, Ean Albury, Kezange Gorgy, Jonelle Hepburn, Jarvis Sanders and family Hatchet Bay community, White Town Community, The Cove Eleuthera, Sandals Exuma, The Pinder and Newbold Families, Nurse at Hatchet Bay Clinic, Stubbs family and all that came in contact with him.
Viewing will be held in the Celestial Suite at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Soldier Roads on Thursday (TODAY) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and again at St. Stephen’s Baptist Church, Hatchet Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday.
