Lela Mae Higgs, age 72, of High Vista and formerly of Spanish Wells, Eleuthera,The Bahamas died at Doctor’s Hospital, Collins avenue, Nassau, on Saturday, July 27th , 2019.
The funeral service will be held at The Spanish Wells Methodist Church, Spanish Wells, The Bahamas, on Saturday, August 10th , 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
Officiating will be Reverend Milton Lightbourne, assisted by Reverend Tom Pope.
A public viewing will be held in Nassau on Wednesday, August 7th, 2019 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kemp’s Funeral Home Limited, 19 Palmdale Avenue, Palmdale, Nassau.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Spanish Wells Methodist Church or the Cancer Society of The Bahamas, P.O. Box S.S. 6539, Nassau in her memory.
Left to cherish fond memories are her Sons: Clint Higgs, Dwayne Higgs, Daughter: Tammy Higgs, Daughter-in-law: Charmaine Higgs, Granddaughter: Taylor Higgs, Brothers: Lemuel Pinder, Clyde Pinder, Walter Pinder, Sister: Linda Pinder, Brothers-in-law: Earl Pinder, Albert Rogers, Lindsay Pinder, Sisters-in-law: Pamela Pinder, Karen Rogers, Julie Pinder, Stacy Pinder, Nephews: Randy Pinder, Jeffrey Rogers, Darren Rogers , Nicholas Rogers, Terrence Pinder, Nieces: Renee Kemp, Rosa Thordarson, Cindy Thompson, Mindy Pinder, and numerous relatives and friends.
