Funeral Service for Mrs. G. E. Patricia Cooper age 85years and a resident of Fortune Bay, Freeport Grand Bahama, and formerly of Nassau, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, East Sunrise Highway. Officiating Father David N. Cooper assisted by, Deacon Nixon Lindor, Deacon Jeffery Hollingsworth and Deacon Donald Duncombe, Interment will follow in the Grand Bahama Memorial Park#1, Frobisher Drive.
Mrs. Cooper was predeceased by her loving husband: Calvin Cooper, Sr., and their son: John F. Cooper.
Left to cherish the memory of her love are her children: Gwynneth Jo-Anne Cooper, Calvin Cooper, and Marcia Winder, David Cooper, Lisa Codella and Meredith Cooper; honorary daughter: Shelly Perez; son-in-law: Terrence Winder; daughter-in-law: Cindy Haase-Cooper; grandchildren: Valentino Cooper, Mark Winder, Randi Winder, Marlena Leonard, Nathan Cooper, and Farah Flowers (honorary); great-grandchildren: Gabriella Winder, Isaac Knowles, and Justin Cooper; sister: Joan Higgs; brothers and sisters-in-law: Livingston Cooper, Henry and Zeta Cooper, Edith Powell, Florence and Ivan Deveaux, Christine Adderley; nieces and nephews: Linda Ingraham Symonette, Kirk Ingraham, Kathy and Kelvin Leach, Borden and Sonia Higgs, Lloyd and Shenell Higgs, Brachelle and Shanard Neely, Robert and Zoe Powell, Craig Powell, Greer and Sean Bain, Johnathon Symonette, Jason and Vanessa Leach, Burliegh and Indiana Cooper, Debbie Cooper, Cynthia Cooper, Fr. David Cooper. a host of other relatives and friends including: Margaret Symonette, Autherloo Rahming, Yvonne Pearson, Bobbie Knowles, Author Edwards, Editha Whitney, Albert Whitney. Brendalee and Richard Rae, Leslie Osazuwa; cherished lifelong friends: Evelyn Winder and Family, Veronica Grant and Family, Norma Headley. Thank you to the ladies Outreach Ministry at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Dr. Pamela Etuk, Dr. Tiadra Johnson and the Doctors and Nurses who provided home visits from the Geriatric Unit of the Public Hospital System.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kingdor National Parkinson’s Foundation.
There will be No Public Viewing, Relatives and friends can sign the book of condolences at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
