Funeral service for
Minerva Joy Miller, 84

a resident of Jubilee Gardens & formerly of Yellow Elder Gardens & True Blue, Crooked Island, will be held at First Born Church of the Living God, Crooked Island Street, on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  Officiating will be Pastor Norris Williams. Interment follows in Lakeview Memorial Gardens & Mausoleums, John F. Kennedy Drive.

Left with thoughts of her lingering memories are her Husband: Leonard “Boston Blackie” Miller; Children: Maria Miller, Theresa Williams, Flossie Cooper, Charles Miller, Latoya Stuart (Pre-deceased: Mavis Bodie, Benjamin & Leonard Miller Jr.); Sisters: Shirley Stubbs, Katherine Barry, Joycelyn Knowles (Pre-deceased: Rosalie Moss & Senoritta Strachan) and Iva Jolly; Brother: Huel Moss (Pre-deceased Harvey Moss); Adopted Brother: Dr. Herbert Orlander; grandchildren: Catherina Peet, Minerva Green, Octavia Jenoure, Kriston Darling, Norris Jr. and Norrisa Williams, (Predeceased: Frahkan Gallaagher-Cooper), Jaykano, Fayjen and Jewel Cooper, Jem Rolle, Chad, Abagail, Lennique, Carlton, Montel, Leon, Nathaniel, Colleen and Danielle Miller, Mary Hanna, Manishca Barr, Romaine White, Antoyo and Ricoyo Stuart, Phillip and Travis Bodie and Nathalie Alexis; numerous great grandchildren; Nephews: Mark and Jeff Stubbs; Stephen Miller, Jamaal Knowles, John, Ryan and Donahue Morris; steve Bullard, Bryant, Ron, Kirk, Dino, Leslie, Theo & Harvey Moss, Trevor, Sterling & Ian Strachan; Nieces: Stephanie and Jewel Moss, Deborah and Patty Dean, Charlene Storr, Marsha Morley, Gwen Johnson and Sherry Strachan; & a host of other relatives & friends including: Golden Day Association, Department of Inland Revenue, Princess Margaret Hospital Lab Department, Atlantis Laundry Department, Public Areas Bahamas, Starbucks Atlantis, Family Guardian, the Derby Road community, the Sinclair family, the Mott family, the Cox family, the Green family, the Jenoure family & the Turner family.

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from9:00 a.m. until service time.
