Funeral Service for Amelie Dorvil, age 81 of Allen Drive, off Carmichael Road and formerly of Port De Paix, Haiti who died on Monday, November 25th, 2019 will be at 2 p.m. at Gospel Assembly Church of God in Christ, Minnie Street & Balfour Avenue. Officiating will be Pastor Celiner Saint-Louis assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Old Trail Road.
She is survived by her Daughter: Judithe Joseph; 3 Brothers: Celifort, Olius and Dabelise Dorvil of Port au Paix; 2 Sisters: Madeline Dorvil and Rosita Doutilien of Port au Paix; 4 Grandchildren: James Joseph of Atlanta Georgia, Evens, Evencia and Brittany Joseph; 1 Great Grandson: Avard Joseph; 1 Son-in-law: Evar Joseph; 2 Grand Daughters-in-law: Zekevia Joseph of Atlanta, Georgia and Avani Curry; 5 Nieces: Lavani and Marie Dorvil, Jumadelle and Vergina Joseph and Sementa Robert of Port au Paix; 3 Nephews: Louifort Dorvil, George Joseph of Miami, Florida and Markenson Dorvil of Port au Paix; 3 Cousins: Aliyon Joseph, Lovenine and Roseline Cesaire; A host of other Relatives and Friends too numerous to mention including: Janice Johnson and Family, the community of Sunshine Park, the Carmichael Road Community, Staff of Geneva Brass Seafoods and the Staff of Master Cleaning Company.
Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, #183 Baillou Hill Road & Cordeaux Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and again at the Church from 1 p.m. on Saturday until service time.
