Funeral Service for MATRIARCH CLEARNEESE “MAMA BOWEN” BOWEN-HIGGS, age 86 years of Heritage Subdivision, Freeport, Grand Bahama and formerly of Clarendon, Jamaica will be held on Sunday, February 10th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Freeport 7th Day Adventist Church, Gambier and Beachway Drives, Freeport, Grand Bahama. Officiating will be Pastor Eric D. Clarke, assisted by Pastor Andrew Burrows and Elder Arleen Sands. Interment will follow at the Grand Bahama Memorial Park, Frobisher Drive, Freeport, Grand Bahama.
 
Precious memories will linger in the hearts of her husband: Gordon  Michael Higgs; sons: Emmanuel “Bunny” Bowen, Michael Bowen (USA) and Matthew Higgs (USA);  daughters: Mavis Francis (USA), Lavern Brown (USA), Audrey Rowe (USA), Charmaine Bowen-Braithwaite (England), Pauline Bowen-Forbes and Angella Rolle; daughter-in-law:Denise Maycock-Bowen; son-in-law: Lovell Forbes; grandchildren:  Wendy and her spouse: Theo Woulard (USA), Renee` Levy (USA), Randy Sweeting (USA), Devon Mason (USA), Marvin Knowles (USA), David Bowen (USA), Leon and Shenika Braithwaite (England), D’Nell Forbes, Trey Rolle and Lailah Bowen; great grandchildren: Randy Sweeting Jr. (USA), Rihanna Sweeting (USA), Damaris Sweeting (USA), Theo Woulard Jr. (USA), and Madison Woulard (USA); great grandchildren: Taylor Levy (USA) and Kayden Knowles (USA); sister: Mary-Lou Francis (England); brother: James Francis (USA); sisters-in-law: Michelle Higgs-Cumberbatch, Judy Higgs (Nassau) and Florence Gardiner, brothers-in-law: Tony Higgs, Paul Higgs and Wayde Higgs numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends including: Una Cooper, Dulcie Bowen-Lewis (USA), Donna Hart (USA), Cousin Ava, Dave and Coraletta Carolina, Juliet Morley and family, Members at Freeport 7th Day Adventist Church (Gambier and Beachway Drives), prayer partners: Sis. Viewing will be held in the “Celestial Suite” at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Limited, #11-A Coral Road, Freeport, Grand Bahama on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until service time.
