Mrs. Correne “Momma” Sands, 81
will be held at Wesley Methodist Church, Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, Bahamas on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Officiating will be Rev Carla Culmer, assisted by Rev Elmena Bethel. Interment will follow in Margaret View Cemetery, Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, Bahamas.
She is predeceased by her son Perry Sands and sisters Jennie Culmer & Beverley Deal.
Left to cherish her memories:loving Husband: Kingsley Sands Children: Christina Sands, Clifford Sands (Daughter-in-law: Sonia Sands), Wade Sands (Daughter-in-law: Raquel Sands), Nigel Sands and Patrice Rolle(Son in-law Aaron Rolle), Stepchildren: Brian (Zelva) Johnson, Romell (Glenda) Ingraham, Dwayne & Dornell Ingraham; 32 Grandchildren; 39 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great great Grandchildren; Sisters: Hilda Douglas, Patricia Grant (Allan Grant); Brother: Willis Thompson, Geoffrey Thompson (Alicia); Sisters-in-Law: Olga Porter, Genieve (Maitland) Bethel, Shirley (Arthur ) Rolle ,Mizpah (Eldon) Evans, & Jaquetta Bowe; Nieces: Midlean (Peter) Basden, Valdo Deal, Carla (Bradd) Styles Andrea Grant, Pastor Remelda (Dewitt) Carey, Patrice Major, Janice Thompson, Vashti & Vashni Thompson.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at Freedom Memorial Center in the Garden of Precious Memories Room from 9am to 3pm.
Public Viewing also will be held at the Cancer Society Palmetto Point from 4pm to 6pm. and again at the church Wesley Methodist Church Palmetto Point from 7:30pm until service time on Saturday.
