Last Rites for Brenetta Richards affectionately known as “Retta Sands” age 67 of Rock Sound, Eleuthera will be held on Saturday January 19th, 2019 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, Marshall Road. Officiating will be Pastor Denzel Clarke assisted by Brother Clinton Clarke and Deacon Kathy Williams. Interment will follow in Spikenard Grave Yard, Cowpen Road.
She is predeceased by her mother: Dorothy “Dolly” Sands, Son: Treco Saunders
She will always be loved and remembered by Her Sons: Andray Gibson, and Andretti Richards; Daughter: Dendy Richards, 10 Grandchildren: Vernon Rodgers, Bernard Newbold, Hosea Newbold, Lavashti Rodgers, Hosea Jeron Newbold, Dwayne Rodgers, Andray Gibson Jr., Andrew Gibson, Andreas Gibson, and Trevano Saunders, 1 Great Grand Daughter: Victoria Wallace, 2 Cousins: Douglas Smith, Winfred Hall and a host of other relatives & friends including Mr. Kelly, Gloria McSweeny, Hazel Sands, Ms. Blanche, Margaret Wallace, Rosabella Williams (Aunt Sadie), Lydia Adderley, Enid Adderley, Dona Rutherford, Camillita Judece, Linda Collie, Yvonne Colebroke and her beloved Chief Cornerstone Ministry family including Pastor Denzil Clarke, Brother Clinton Clarke, Sister Bastian, Samantha Clarke and Deacon Kathy Williams and the Farrington Road Community.
The body will repose at Curtis Memorial Mortuary on Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 PM and at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
