Last rites for Alvin Bruce “Sonny” Dean age 82 years of Pinewood Gardens will be held on Sunday 7th July, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Grants Town Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Hugh Roach, assisted by Pastor Jon Dorsett, Elder Michael McCoy and Elder Roger Forbes. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens.
He is survived by his Wife of sixty-one (61) years: Beulah Dean; One (1) Son: Perry Dean; Two (2) Daughters: Myra (Hosea) Ferguson and Arnette Dean; Eight (8) Grandchildren: Anya Ferguson, Shazarah (Terell) Humes, Sheneka (Cordero) Oliver, Nakia Dean, Charles Hanna, Marcia Major, Montry Thompson and Charless; Twenty-One (21): Great Grandchildren; One (1) Aunt: Dorothy Dean Chea; Five (5) Sisters-In-Law: Judith Dean of Hutnsville, Alabama, Maxcine McCartney, Priscilla King, Constance Ferguson and Brenda Carey; Four (4) Brothers-In-Law: Henry (Matilda), Kirk (Mahalia) , Kenneth (Sadie), and Fredrick McCartney; numerous Nephews and Nieces including: Kim Dean of Atlanta, Georgia, Garvin Dean of South Carolina, Patrice Dean, Jean Sawyer, David , Sandra Dean of Govenors Harbour, Eleuthera, Captain Anthony Dean and Sherry Sawyer; Devoted Cousins: Barry farrington & Family, Dr. Earl Farrington (deceased), Melanie Farrington and Joan Mackey & Family; Special Friends: Barry Rassin, Hortence Ingraham & Family, Pastor Hugh Roach & Edith Roach, Rev. The body will repose at CURTIS MEMORIAL MORTUARY on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and at the church on Sunday from 9:00 AM until service time.
