Funeral Service for Herbert Burns, age 85 of Pink Cassia Avenue, Garden Hills, will be held on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at 10:00 am at Friendship Baptist Church, Laird Street. Officiating will be Rev. Archelaus Burrows, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in The Old Trial Cemetery, Old Trial Road.
Herbert was predeceased by his: Wife: Cybelline Dianna Burns.
His love and devotion will forever linger in the hearts of his only daughter: Dianna "Donna" Knowles; Grandchildren: Cheryl and Renaldo Knowles; Great grandchildren Alex and Channah Knowles; Brothers in-law: Anothony and Winston Gardiner a host of other relatives and friends and many others too numerous to mention.
The body will repose in the Blessed Redeemer Chapel at Ferguson’s Funeral Directors, 7th Terrace Collins Avenue, from 10:00 am - 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and at the church on Saturday from 9:00a.m. until service time.
