Funeral Service for Alexander Grant Baxter age 52 years of Seabreeze Estates, Nassau, The Bahamas will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at New Beginnings Fellowship, Montrose Avenue. Officiating will be Pastor Bradley Smith.
Alex graduated from St. Augustine’s College and went on to be a successful entrepreneur establishing Bahamas Woodcrafters in 1977.
Predeceased by his father Alexander Grant Baxter, his mother Carolyn Louis Baxter and his brother Kenneth John Saunders.
He is survived by his wife: Loretta Baxter; sons::Alexander Baxter Jr., and Lex Baxter, daughter: Callista Baxter, in-laws: Jian Qing Ye and Can Jun Yang, sisters: Ellen Weindorf (Richard) and Samantha Finch (Jeff); aunts: Nora du Plessis, Jackie Robb (Douglas), Patsy Collins (Daryl), and Marsha Baxter Bellis; uncle: Billy Russell (Pam), nephews: Richie Weindorf, Brandon Weindorf, and Jeffrey Finch, niece: Nicole Finch; former wife: Jean Lowe, sister-in-law: Riane Renner (Todd); brother-in-law: Shawn Yang; cousins: Matthew Carey (Wanda), Nicola Butler, Louise du Plessis, and William Russell, friends including: Debbie and Ross Pinder, Jerome and Rachel Pinder, Nicholas Mosko, Daniel Ferguson, Tony Miaoulis, Jay Thompson, Mark Edward and Alesha Hart, Tammy Sands, Darron and Charmaine Roberts, Herschel and Nancy Albury, and beloved Florence Thompson. His faithful and loving staff: Patrick Saunders, Alfred Rolle, Stephen Allen, Ricardo Rolle, Jeffrey Miller, and Tito Whylly.
Instead of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society of The Bahamas, P.O. Box SS-6539 Nassau, Bahamas in memory of Mr. Alexander Grant Baxter.
There will be No Viewing.
Mr. Alexander Baxter was cremated prior to service.
