Funeral Service for Gladys Agatha Forbes, 82 years of #3 Poinciana Drive and formerly of Westmorland, Jamaica, who died peacefully at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Monday, 15th July, 2019, will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Wulff & Baillou Hill Roads, on Saturday, 27th July, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Canon Basil Tynes assisted by Father Donald Kerr will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Barnabas Cemetery, Moore Avenue.
Cherished Memories will forever live in the hearts of her families: Four daughters: Joy, Loleta & Sherriel James (of Jamaica) and Elizabeth Forbes-Sargent (of Nassau); Three step-daughters: Barbara, Annie-Mae and Melony Forbes; one adopted daughter: Kimberly Riley; Two step sons: Jeffery Forbes-Demeritte and Genaro Forbes; one adopted son: Renaldo Riley; Two brothers: Kingsley and Ralph Sinclair;Twenty-nine Grandchildren: Omar, Sharmaine, Carl, Tamara, Naketa, Kade, Shanghi, Taryn, Simone, Simon, Joan, Nicoli, Nupaul, Tashana, Kayson, Kelsie, Anikka, Sushannie, Troy, Owen Jr., Lil man, Clayton, Calvin, Ciara, Alexis, Brittany, Chanta, Valentina, and Joshua Rolle; Twenty-five Great-Grandchildren including: Oneil, Kedena, Tishana, Ontwan, Nikyle, Kyisra, Darius, Brianna, Jermaine Jr. Jamari, Atarah; One Great Greatgrand: Chinoy; Seven Nephews: Noel, Stanton, Patrick, Radley, Michael, Paul, and Fitzroy; Four Nieces: Sandra, Vivien, Elizabeth and Patricia; One sister-in-law: Shirley Sinclair; One Brother-in-law: Nathaniel Forbes Sr.; Numerous Family and Friends including: Rosemary (Twiggy) Rodgers, Lance Knowles, Linzi Knowles-Belton, Vita & Stanley, Jane & Family, Stephen Sweeting Sr., Berkley & Zennerman (Peter), Esther-Mae Sherman-Jolly and family, Inaand Pandora Fernander and family, Rosetta & Jade Watkins, Jamison Rolle and family, James Toney & Family, Jermaine Hunter & Family, Wilfred Sargent & Family, Frank Lightbourn, The Paul’s Family, Nyoka Johnson-‘Women of Strength’ and family, The St. Barnabas Church Family, New Victory Temple C.O.G Family, Diamonds International Family; and many others too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Grace Funeral Home, #36 Rosetta Street, Palmdale, on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
