Funeral Service for Philomene Docteur age 77 of Toote Shop Corner and formerly of Milot, Haiti who died on July 2, 2019 will be held on Saturday July 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, Deveaux Street. Officiating will be Fr. Jonathan Duka assisted by Deacon Maxwell Johnson. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Jimmy Docteur(Kendea Young); daughters, Carol Docteur and Myrtha Docteur(predeceased); granddaughters, Jimia Docteur and Stephanie Rahming; brothers and sisters in Haiti and Florida; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends including: Velmer, Rita, Bush Louis(Da President), Roland, Madelyn and Family, Janet and Family, Michelle Williams and Family, Christopher Williams and Family, Florinda Holbert and Family, Star Turnquest and Family, Angel, Ritchie and Munroe Family, Victoria Bain and Family, Madame Constance and Family, Shawn Moxey and Family,Iranease Stuart, Judy Roker and Family, Anthony Fowler and Family, Valentino Missick and Family, Rose Forbes and Family, Chrishiek Forbes and Family, Antionette Bell and Family, Madame Kenston and Family, Anthony Dean and Family, Jonelle Ferguson, Ronald Thompson and Family, Shandia Ramsey, Eribain Beaubrun, Amilleus and Family, Nonome Family, Lubin Family, Michelle Simon and Family, Ethrel Cunningham, Bastian Family, Sharell McPhee and Family, Anita Hudson and Family, Steve Johnson and Family, Scottie and Dennis Brown and Family, Symonette Family, the Haitian Community, The Toote Shop Corner Family, Sunlight Cottage, Sunlight Village and Fritz Lane Family, Aquaventure Atlantis, Red Cross, Eye World and Princess Margaret Hospital Medical and Eye Clinic.
Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. to service time.
