John Rudolph Griffin, 80
Affectionately called “Johnny”
of Eneas Street, Bain Town and formerly of Current, Eleuthera who died at his residence on Saturday, 1st June, 2019. The service will be held on Tuesday, 18th June, 2019 at 11:00a.m. at The Current Methodist Church in Current, Eleuthera. Rev. Carla Culmer assisted by Brother Luther Kemp and Rev. Derek Eldon will officiate. Interment will follow in the Current Cemetery, Eleuthera.
He is survived by his Sisters: Barbara Andrews, Carol Roberts, Madge Pryke & Joanne Roberts; Brothers: Kingsley Griffin & Alfred Griffin; Sister-in-Law: Maria Griffin; Brother-in-Law: Lester Roberts; Nieces: Rochelle Roberts, Raquel Neilly, Heather Coleby, Christina Turner, Rachel Sweeting, Audra Neely, Nikole Griffin-Zeiger, Alexis Griffin, Charlotte Pryke & Cheyanne Roberts; Nephews: Gary Thompson, Roger Griffin, Ron Griffin, Eric Griffin, Alan Pryke & Jordan Griffin; Great Grand Nieces: Madison Knowles, Kelsie Neely, Brielle Zeiger, Brianna Zeiger & Bryn Turner; Great Grand Nephews: Brian Thompson, Christopher Thompson, Kristian Neely, Deniro Neely, Tushar Coleby, Evan Sweeting, Lorenzo Neilly, Teagan Coleby, Tyler Zeiger & Brecken Turner; Numerous other relatives and friends including his caregiver: Jennet & her family & his former employer (predeceased) Sir Roland Symonette & Lady Symonette, and the Hon. Brent Symonette & Mr. Craig Symonette & their families.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by The New Commonwealth Funeral Home on Independence Drive.
Viewing will be on Monday, 17th June, 2019 from 9:30a.m. to 2:00p.m. and again in Current, Eleuthera on Tuesday, 18th June, 2019 from 9:00am until service time.
