Joyce Victoria Lowe, 88
of New Orleans, Louisiana and formerly of Hamiltons, Long Island, The Bahamas, who died at the home of her daughter
and son-in-law, on 14th June, 2019, will be held at Holy
Family Catholic Church, Robinson and Claridge Roads,
Nassau, on Saturday, 29th June, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
Father Jay Cartwright and Deacon D’Arcy Rahming will
officiate and interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Woodlawn Way and Soldier Road.
She was predeceased by her father Manoah Cartwright and mother, Marion Cartwright; brothers, Alphonso, Bruce, Frank and Daniel Cartwright; husband, George Lowe; son, Gregory
Cartwright; daughter, Sandra Slatter; grandson, Joseph
Sauvinet and son-in-law, Per Nielsen.
She is survived by her daughters, Bernadette Nielsen (Peter)
and Sheryl Sauvinet (Eric); grandsons, Donahue Sasso
(Charmaine), Sean Sasso (Manchy), Robert Slatter, Andrew, Gregory and Nathaniel Cartwright; granddaughters, Virginia
Saunders and Skyland Sasso; daughter-in-law, Idella
Cartwright; great granddaughters, Seannell Sasso, Chryshanta
Sasso; great great granddaughters, Joycee Saunders and
Jimena Thompson and many other relatives and close friends.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Kemp’s
Funeral Home Limited, 19 Palmdale Avenue, Palmdale,
Nassau, on Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
