Funeral service for Wallace Henderson Adderley Sr. age 77 years and a resident of # 141 Dampier Drive Freeport, and formerly of Burnt Ground, Long Island, will be held at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Beach Way Drive, Freeport, Grand Bahama on Saturday, June 29th 2019, at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Emmitt Weir. Interment will follow at Grand Bahama Memorial Park #2 Frobisher Drive.
Wallace will always be cherished and remembered by his: lifelong partner Victoria Williams (Mother of his seven children); sons: Wallace H. (Shorty) Jr, Elliott, Lorell, Garvin, Dario, and Christopher Adderley; daughters: Sherene , Malinda (Davis), Kizzy, Shakira, and Tracey Adderley; son in-law: Edison Davis; grandchildren: Breanna, Shetika, Lorell Jr, Sasha, Shania, Shiloh, Saliyah, Garvinelle, Eli, Christopher (Mellow), Siena, Mariah, Jerome, Zion, and Carmen Adderley; brother: Kenneth L. Adderley (Deloris); uncle: Willard Gibson; aunt: Jane Adderley; numerous nieces and nephews including: Kendrick, Dedric (Thomasina), Samantha (Glen) Stuart, Kenya and Sherika Adderley; cousins: Alfred, Vernal and Emmy Adderley, Lulamae Adderley, Ruth Smith, Dean, Patrick Adderley (Astrid) Ovid. Landis, Spencer, Okell ( Gladys), Edison, Plato Thompson, Elizabeth Cartwright, Lilith Major, Shirley Farrington, Jacqueline Pinder, Michelle Anderson, Vernell Carey, Patricia Fountain, Sonja Roberts Brian Adderley, Eleanor Adderley, Helen Pratt(Steven), Philip Major, Cathleen (Kathie) Higgs (Cardy), Sean Gibson, Pauline Cooper ( Gary), Paulette Steel, Elizabeth Rolle, (Jeffrey) Gaynor Simms (Cyril) Thelma Douglas; other family and friends including: The Williams family, Rita, Chantel, Bruce and Maura Chee-A-Tow, Eddie, Sweeting, The Darville family, Basil, Malcolm, Ted Mackey, Ms. Pedican, Charlton, Steve, Glenda, Lynden, Bailou, Dr. Rand Garcia, Princess Margaret surgical nurses, Doctors and Nurses on the Rand Memorial Hospital surgical team, Rev, Dr. Emmett Weir, many others too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Yager Funeral Home & Crematorium, Queen’s Highway on Friday from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
