Funeral Service for the late Glyde Dean Gardner age 96 years of Seven Hills, New Providence and formerly of Arthur’s Town, Cat Island; Miami, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia; will be held on Saturday 25th May, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church East, Shirley St. Officiating will be Rev. T.G. Morrison. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Left to cherish her fond memories are her SISTER: Mrs. Ethel Brown; DAUGHTER: Dr. Hazel Ekwueme; SON- IN-LAW: Dr. Donatus Ekwueme; GRAND CHILDREN: Eric, Kelechi and Ikenna Ekwueme; Danielle and Demetrius Newbold; GREAT GRAND CHILDREN: Terinique and Kenshawanda Powell; NIECES: Apostle Victoria Russell, Elsie Swain, Shanise Dean, Florine Dean, Naomi Pierre, Beatrice Farrington, Dr. Karen St. Cyr, Naomi Grant, Glyde Melceroe Dean, Esther Punza and Virginia Brown; NEPHEWS: Maxwell Dean, Pedro Dean, Zendle Dean, Dwain Dean, Burton Dean, Dwight Dean, Brister Dean, Andre Dean and Jared Dean; 47 grand nieces, and 31 grand nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians & Crematorium #44 Nassau Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
