Funeral Service for Iris Melba Hanna, age 88 of Regency Park and formerly of Pompey Bay, Acklins who died on Thursday, November 5th, 2019 will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, #25 Virginia Street. Officiating will be Rev’d Fr. Dwight M. Bowe. Interment will follow in St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church Cemetery, #25 Virginia Street.
She is survived by her 2 Daughters: Shelley Hanna & Bonnie Thompson; 2 Sons: Theodore & Tyson Thompson; 1 Sister: Ionette Ellen Adderley; 3 Brothers: Earnel & (Carol) Hanna, Oscar Hanna, Dewitt & (Eartha) Hanna; 23 Grandchildren including: Chevette & (Franklyn) Miller, Gilda Bethel, Ricardo “Richard” Dames, Valentino, Nadia & Jerrard Hanna, Nathaniel & Nashon Cambridge, Coby Cooper, Timmon & Demetrius Thompson; 20 Great Grandchildren including: Shaniese, Dikaioo, Sharell, Jazmin, Kendell & Kimberlee Miller, Myles Bethel, Khalianna & Cardia Dames, Keon and Latrelle Hanna, Keon & Latrelle, Kishi Kikivaracus, Alethia & Jeremiah Forbes & Mark Hanna, Timmon & Demetrius Thompson, Timothy Jr., Cindy, Tyrese, Nathanial & Nashon Cambridge & Kobie Cooper; Numerous Nieces and Nephews and a host of other Relatives and Friends including: Iris Tynes, Mrs. Flora Hanna, Heastie’s, Tynes, William’s & Hanna Families, St. Mary’s Anglican Church Family & Neighbors of Regency Park.
Friends may pay their last respects at East Sunrise Mortuary, Baillou Hill Road & Cordeaux Avenue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and again at the Church from 9 a.m. on Saturday until service time.
