MRS. MARIA ELLIOTT FORBES, 91
a resident of #34 Murphyville & Brooklyn, New York, will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, Deveaux Street, on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. David Cooper, assisted by Fr. Noel Clarke, Fr. Jonathan Duka & Deacon Maxwell Johnson. Interment follows in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Tyler Street.
Maria died peacefully early in the morning on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. She now joins loved ones gone on before: Her parents: Benjamin and Mabel Elliott (née Edgecombe), Brothers: Clarence, Israel Lee, Ashton Earl, and Audley Elliott, Sisters: Amanda Fox & Violet Brown, Nephews: Clarence and Martin Elliott, Nieces: Erma Sears, Sylvia Elliott Ross, Elthreada Brown McPhee, Norma Cox, Debra King and Lorna Elliott Robinson.

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 10a.m. until service time.
