Sister Diana Rosemary Gilbert

Funeral service for the late Sister Diana Rosemary Gilbert age 69 years of Emmanuel Drive will be held on Saturday September 7th, 2019 at 10:00 am at Amazing Grace Missionary Baptist Church, Wilson Tract off Andros Ave, East Street. Officiating will be Sr. Pastor Merian Roberts J.P. assisted by Assistant Pastor Cecilia Horton, Assistant Pastor Ester Cooper J.P., Min. Chris Daxon and Elder Delrose Forbes. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive and Gladstone Road.
She was predeceased by her brothers-in-law: Clarence Dorestte
Left to cherish her memories are her Four children: Dereck Gilbert, Dave Farrington, Cleomi Gilbert- LaFleur and Charmaine Gilbert; Two Daughters in law: Remilda Gilbert and Cherrie Farrington; One son in law: James Lafleur; Eleven grandchildren: Deshya (Tort St. Lucie, Fla.), Dave and Davernique Farrington, Dereck, Deandre Gilbert, Diana Dwyer, Taretha Rahaming, Eric and Chante Smith, Jamal and Brittany LaFleur; Eleven Great Grand Children: Kaled Jefferson (Tort St. Lucie, Fla.), Sarah dwyer, Chole Rolle, Deonte and Deandra Gilbert, Deandre Gilbert Jr., Teaira Tanelus, Antwonika Major, Carvon Lewis, Owen and Jqwon Rahming; Four Sisters Barbara Dorsette, Wendy Gilbert, Annamae and Virgina Poitier; Two brothers: Rev Dennis Gilbert (Springs Hills, Fla.), Lionel Gilbert retired. Supt of Department of Correctional Services; Three sisters in law Catherine, Sarla and Verna Gilbert; One brother in law: Christopher Poitier; Thirteen Nieces: Rochelle Johnson, Densie Lambert, Sheena Flunker, Natasha Lampley, Renee Anglin (Atlanta Georgia), Jolanda Knowles, Shonel Clear, Andrea Miller, Lana Roseboro, Dr. Nadia Gilbert- Bannister, Dorothy Valentin (Spring Hills, Fla.), Ashish and Aradhanna Gilbert ; Seven nephews: Kirkley and Kyle Dorsette, Dwyne Johnson (New Jersey), Humphrey Gilbert (Tampa Fla.), Lavar Gilbert, Tajh Seymour and Christopher Poitier; Special Thanks: Doctors and Nurses of the Oncology Department, especially Judith Demeritte and Nurse Hanna. Doctors and Nursing Staff of the Gynae Ward. Viewing will be held in the Celestial Suite at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Soldier Roads on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
