Mr. Carl Eugene Carey, 74
a resident of Walnut Street, Pinewood Gardens, will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, Deveaux Street, on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Johnathan A. Duka, assisted by Deacon Maxwell Johnson. Cremation follows.
Left to cherish the loving memories of his life are his life-long companion Shirley Lockhart; Children: Lorraine Carey Coleby, Brad Coleby Sr. (Son-in-Law) Natasha & Nicole Carey, Brent Lockhart, Eltoy Lockhart (Daughter-in-Law) and Ingrid Farrington; Grandchildren: Rashad Laroda, Tempra Laroda (Grand-daughter-in-law), Crystal Bowleg, Jade, Diamond and Bradbury Coleby Jr., Janae Williams, Rayshan Roxbury, Michaela and Makia Hepburn, Shamatie, Lashan & Brandon Lockhart and Terry Farrington; Great Grandchildren: Trinity, Stephen & Zion Bowleg and Rayne Laroda; Sisters: Carolyn Seymour, Lorraine Carey, Cybil Cassar and Gloria Rolle; Brother: Jack Carey; Nieces & Nephews: Sharon Stubbs, Nicole Bowe-Jean, Tommy, Freddy, Greg & Theo Bowe and Trevor Rolle of Sarasota, Florida; Other Relatives & Friends including: Rev. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 1-5:00 p.m. on Thursday & on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
