Funeral Service for Mrs. Catherine “Flora” Rahming-Sands-Johnson, age 91 years, a resident of #33 Second Street, Coconut Grove, and formerly of Black Point and Little Creek, South Andros, will be held on Sunday, September 29th, 2019, 12:30 p.m., at New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Independence Drive, Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Everette J. Brown, assisted by other ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Abundant Life Road.
She was predeceased by parents: Prince and Frances Rahming, siblings: Gwendolyn Evans, Rowena Newbold, Willamae, Edward and Donald Rahming; sons: Orval and Sidney Rahming and Reuben Johnson; granddaughter: Shamon McKenzie; great grandson Dr. Blair John.
The influence, legacy and fond memories of Catherine, ‘Sir K’, ‘Mama’, Auntie, Mrs. Johson, Sis. Johnson, or whatever moniker by which you knew her, the enterprising businesswoman, loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend will linger forever in the hearts of: Her surviving children; Rev. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd, Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads, on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and at the church on Sunday, from 11:00 a.m until service time.
