Funeral Service for the Late Wilfred Livingston Newton, 75 years of Peter Street and formerly of Blanket Sound, Andros, who died at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Tuesday, 10th December, 2019, will be held at Evangelic Assembly Church of God In Christ, Baillou Hill Road and Fleming Street, on Saturday, 4th January, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Patrick V. Smith assisted by Elder Stephen Sands will officiate. Interment will follow in Old Trail Cemetery, Abundant Life Road.
He is survived by his six (6) Daughters: Marvalyn Brennen, Gertrude Brennen-Pratt, Nickiter and Saskia Black and Sharlese and Sharlen Henfield; two (2) Sons: Leon and Kenton Black; five (5) Sisters: Beula, Marilyn, Lexis, Rachael and Janice Roberts; two (2) Brothers: King and Peck Roberts; two (2) Sons-in-law: Jerome Dames Sr. and Patrick Pratt Jr.; eleven (11) Grandchildren: Marvin Brennen, Marlon Duncombe, Kenneth Brennen, Shrome and Jerome Dames, Tangelique Black, Je’za Carey, Dario Pinder, Shanhaz and Sherman Winters and Payton Black; two (2) Great-Grandchildren: Alexio Bain and Ladaria Pinder; four (4) Nieces: Clarice (James Sr.) Adderley, Michelle Munnings, Jennifer Hield and Lorraine Roberts; one (1) Nephew: Clifford Hield; numerous Aunts and Uncles and a host of other relatives and friends including: Shanika and family, Desiree, Ike, Mervin, Derek Russell, Sabriana Adderley, Sheep, Nikki, Ebony and family, the Dames family, Terryann Grant and family, Ms. Ruby and family, James Wright and family, Quetille and family, Mavis and family, Donna and family, Kelly’s Lumber Yard family, Kenneth’s Food Store family, Cynthia “Mother” Pratt and family, the Grove family, Blanket Sound and Fresh Creek, Andros family, and the entire Peter Street family.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Grace Funeral Home, #36 Rosetta Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
