Funeral service for
Mr. George Strachan, 67

a resident of Patton Street of West & Augusta Streets, will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, West Street, on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.  Officiating will be Father Glen C. Nixon. Interment follows in Western Cemetery, Nassau Street.

Left to cherish his memories are, his wife: Patricia Strachan; 4 sons: George, Godfrey and Gervon Strachan and Franklyn Hinsey; 9 Grandchildren: Summer and Peyton Strachan, PC4038 Stefano Wilkinson, Alexia Latrell, Surri , Asia and Padreas Hinsey, Petri Symonette Seymour; 1 brother: Edison Brown Sr.; 4 sisters: Velva Rahming, Walburtha Johnson-Rolle, Jacqueline Wright, and Deborah Fawkes; 11 nieces:  Schamell King, Devia, Knowles, Deandra Fawkes, Wainger Flowers, Ja’Dania Kemp, Janita Gibson, Sherry Benjamin, Latoya, Pauline and Latisha Brown and Latoya Campbell; 9 nephews: PC595 Raynard and Rodney Rahming ,Romaine Damon and Cavin Cummings Edison Jr. and Jamaal Brown; 2 brothers in law: Stephen Fawkes and Don Thompson;  Numerous Grand  Nieces and Grand Nephews as well a host of relatives and friends including: Kirk Moxey and family, Elizabeth Ferguson and family, Ted and Teddy King and family, Florinda Bastian and family, the family of the late Birdina Moxey-Taylor and family, Persis Bullard and family, Pastor Stuart and the family of the church of God of Prophecy  Patton and Augusta Street, Roxbury family, Atherley family, Curfew Lodge Alpha Temple family, Timothy and family, Cove House-keeping Department, The Airport Authority, Janet Rolle and family, Ministry of Health family Theodora Ledee and family, Gertrude Sweeting and family, Joyce and Joan (Penny)Fawkes and family, Samuel Turnquest, Charles and Henry Dean and family ,the Patton ,West and Augusta Street Crew and family, Mr. King and family, Sidney Bowles and family Sally Hutchinson and family Anthony McKinney and family Crofton Ellis and family a host of relative and friends too numerous to mention.

Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
