Funeral Service for Anthony Saunders age 63 of Gladstone Road who died on January 2, 2019 will be held on Saturday January 25, 2020 at 11:00 am at Macedonia Baptist Church, Bernard Road, Fox Hill. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Hartman Nixon assisted by Other Ministers. Interment will follow in Fox Hill Cemetery, Fox Hill Road.
He is survived by his mother: Ms. Elsey Kemp-Saunders; his father, Sidney Saunders (predecease); His six (6) children and grandchildren: Lamar, Antonio, Anthony, Elizabeth; His stepson and stepdaughter, Deidra Cox (predeceased) and Deidrick Cox; His fiancee, Deidre Cox; five (5) brothers, Patrick, Theodore Senior, Perry, Ray and Rodney Saunders; three (3) sisters, Peggy and Laverne Saunders and Joy Saunders-Cleare; Sisters In-Law: Shay and Renee Saunders; Brother-In-Law,Tyrone Cleare; His aunts and uncles: Frederick Kemp, Florence Ramsey, Katrina Gardiner, Mannette Gibson and Margarita Kemp-Rolle; Uncle- In-laws: Fred Ramsey and Morris Rolle; Great-grandaunt: Ms. Barell Wright (oldest living great- grandaunt); numerous nieces and nephews including: Tiffany and Nathaniel Smith, Lamone Armstrong, Rudolph and Antoine Tinker, Coralee Adderley, Rayann, Rodney Junior, Rodnesha, Raniya, Rianna and Ryan Saunders, Parise Saunders-Simon, Valeska, Perissa, Perianna, Perry Junior, Ashton Saunders, Tennille, Tamara, Takia and Theodore Junior Saunders and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O Jones Memorial Center, Mt Royal Ave and Talbot Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00pm and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 am until service time.
