Funeral Service for Joseph Jerome Treco age 81 of Gray’s, Long Island and formerly of Hamilton’s, Long Island who died on January 17, 2020 will be held on Saturday January 25, 2020 at 10:45 am at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Hamilton’s, Long Island. Officiating will be Fr. William Quiamjot. Interment will follow in St. Pius Cemetery, The Bight, Long Island.
He is survived by his wife, Mavis Lolitta Treco; daughters: Amarylis Knowles, Predensia Fox, Bernadette
Darville, Jennifer Knowles and Lolita Treco; sons-in-law: Andrew Fox, Joseph Darville and Anthony
Knowles; grandchildren: Desmond, James, Racquel, Roman, Alejandra, Georgia, Kimberly, Robin, Megan
and Chelsea; grandchildren-in-law: Nikita, Kristen, Jethro and Kenneth; great-grandchildren: Miles,
Andreas, Isis, Alejandro, James Daniel, Alexandria, Canaan, George and Ava; siblings: Milton and
Damian; in-laws: Christine, Sandy, Lester, Kathlyn, Dorothy and Dee; Beloved family friends: Bernard Knowles and Derek Knowles; He is predeceased by sons-in-law: James F. Knowles and George Wells; siblings: Esliette, Ruby, Hattie,Theresa and Rosella; Numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, friends, the community of Long Island, Dr. Carter & Staff of the Clinic and the Catholic Church Family.
Viewing will be held in the Legacy Suite of Vaughn O. Jones Memorial Center, Mt. Royal Ave. and Talbot Street on Thursday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm and on Friday at St. Pius Catholic Church from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm and on Saturday at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church from 9:45 am until service time.
