Recipients of the International Press Institute awards pose for a group photograph during Monday night’s ceremony at the Hyatt Regency, Port-of-Spain. From left are Robert Dupuch Carron, who received a special citation given posthumously to his grandfather, Sir Etienne Dupuch, Iryna Vidanava, founder and editor in chief of 34 Media Magazine in Belarus, who received the IPI Free Media Pioneer 2012 Award, Mrs Eileen Dupuch Carron, current publisher/editor of The Tribune, and Mr David Rohde, columnist, Thomson Reuters, who received the 63rd IPI World Press Freedom Hero Award.
