Warning to US visitors
POINTING to the steady rise in violent crime over the past two years, US State Department officials again warned American visitors to avoid “Over The Hill” areas after dark in its annual crime and safety report.
Murder rate down 13% from 2011
DESPITE overall crime statistics being down by 5 per cent in 2012 compared to 2011, police say serious crimes or crimes against persons increased by 2 per cent during the same time period.
