Hurricane Danny becomes Category 3 storm but expected to weaken on Saturday
HURRICANE Danny, the first hurricane this year in the Atlantic Ocean, strengthened into a Category 3 hurricane on Friday afternoon, the United States’ National Hurricane Centre (NHC) said. Danny was reported to be 900 miles south east of the Caribbean’s Leeward Islands and moving north-west at 10mph, gaining a little strength as it moved across the Atlantic.
