Poachers' haul - half was undersize
ACTING Director of Fisheries Edison Deleveaux yesterday estimated that more than 20,000 to 30,000 pounds each of fishery products were on board two of the three Dominican vessels that were apprehended by the Royal Bahamas Defence Force over the weekend.
We’re making progress on poaching plague
BAHAMAS Commercial Fishers Alliance Vice President Keith Carroll yesterday described poaching as a “plague” that is afflicting the country and dubbed the weekend arrest of 124 Dominican poachers as “one of the best things” to have ever happened in the southern Bahamas.
