Turnquest resigns as Deputy PM, Minister of Finance
Peter Turnquest has resigned as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. In a statement, Mr Turnquest hit out at the “unfounded and untrue claims” against him and said he would continue to serve as the Member of Parliament for East Grand Bahama.
Permanent voter registration plan to be tabled ‘next week’

PM intends to extend state of emergency till December 28th
PRIME Minister Dr Hubert Minnis gave notice in the House of Assembly yesterday evening of his intention to extend the country’s state of emergency until December 28.
