Govt to take ‘aggressive’ approach to building airports, says Romer
THE construction of some Family Island airports is set to be completed by 2025 as the government takes an “aggressive” approach to the building process, according to Dr Kenneth Romer, deputy director general of the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation.
New runway and taxi ways planned for LPIA
A TOP Aviation official said plans are underway for the Lynden Pindling International Airport to gain a new runway and taxi ways. Concerns with control towers and limited operational hours also will be addressed.
Room capacity challenges as tourism numbers grow
TOURISM numbers are looking very promising ahead of spring break, according to Ministry of Tourism deputy director general Dr Kenneth Romer, who cited room capacity as a major challenge because of high hotel occupancy levels.
