Lady Pindling hits back over Sir Lynden 'endorsement' of Ingraham
Lady Pindling say she poor, that Pindling died broke? Read these FACTS: In the explosive 1988 book - the Cocaine Wars - described how Carlos Lehder, the Colombian cartel's transport chief, took control of an island in the Exumas "while the government of Prime Minister Sir Lynden Pindling did its best to help him feel at home." A review of Sir Lynden's personal finances by the 1984 Commission of Inquiry in Nassau found that he had spent eight times his reported total earnings from 1977 to 1984. According to the Inquiry: "The prime minister and Lady Pindling have received at least $57.3 million in cash PLUS Witnesses at Lehder's 1988 trial in the US said Pindling was paid $88,000 on the 22nd of each month to protect the Norman's Cay base, and Everette Bannister - who was also indicted in the US for funneling bribes from drug smugglers to Bahamian officials - collected the bribes personally, and Lady Pindling say she poor??

The death penalty need to be put into place for criminals. Right now criminals think they have the upper hand and that they are living above the law. Criminals knows if they commit a crime, get a lawyer and sit on remand for 3 months eventually they will be out on bail to reoffend. It’s a game to them. What happen to the Cat Nine Tail or Hanging? These criminals have no regards or remorse for humans because they are doing their criminal acts in broad day light. HEARTLESS HUMANS. This need to be top priority.

BSHPF and BSHPY are the two ticker symbol associated with BPC, instead of Bahamians rowing over what the PLP will do or not do, just go ahead and buy some stocks because they will do it and by the way the FNM or the DNA was going to do it also because it makes sense. The government and cabinet ministers usually gets rich of back door deals and buying up shares in companies because of insider trading, but now is the time for the average Bahamian to do their homework and take a gamble.

the ex president of bpc said what a good man christie was and how careful he will be ,,,what an endorsement ,,if we are going to drill for oil lets do it w/ a company that has the money should anything go wrong ,,not some fly by night that has to do an ipo to raise money to drill,,the first spill and bpc will vanish into thin air ,,prime minister christie think and pray because this could be your legacy

I could some what agree with that but the PLP is already in bed with them so I would advise any Bahamian to get something out of the deal, instead of letting Christie, Davis, Gibson and the rest of them be the only one to gain.

Like many natives I too have reluctance when it comes to the PLP. The other side was I had to flip a coin to make up my mind if I would trust PM Christie with the future of our Bahamaland and the answer was yes, with a watchful eye. Let’s see wait and see what his first 100 days back in office results in. There will be no instant fixes to the crime epidemic. We have borrowed beyond sound financial management and tough “leave the damn politics out of it” decisions will be required. Does PM really mean to put the natives first? Did he read the riot act to certain ministers he reappointed? I have never believed in government acting as the Bahamaland’s employment or social assistance agency. Make cabinet meetings as open to the public as our national security can permit, and to hold cabinet meetings via video conferencing to the Family Islands. We’ll talk again after the 100 days is up. You can be assured I will not pull back when some serious frankness is required.

Why doesn't this man shut up about non church issues? Gomez!!! We don't care what you have to say, you are an embarrassment to your church! I hope you wake up one day and realize just how many FNM anglicans you have alienated in your political job for the PLP.
I pray one day we get a true seperation of church and state!

They lambasted him ad nauseum when he was in power. He is now out of power and they are still talking about him all over the airwaves, internet and written media. They just can't stop giving this man attention because they ALL know - both PLPs and FNMs- that Hubert Alexander Ingraham is forever and still SIMPLY THE BEST!

Minister outlines 'bleak state of prison'
Ok, let me get this right, AG Allyson Maynard wants to implement swift justice and put away these criminals fast, DPM Brave Davis and the cool PM-PC wants to repeal some of the crime laws, and now Minisiter of national security Bain town boy wants to have a greater outflow of criminals from the prison because he feels disheartened in the conditions they are living in. OK OK OK OK , it all makes sense now. These people are in jail for -Robbing people at gun and knife point -Raping women, children ( and lately boy children) -Murdering people because of stupidity and jealousy -Selling drugs and guns and all these other things causing these problems and a bunch of other dumb %&#@
These are Bahamians too, who although disrespect the law, the land and people, we Believe that we must have compassion and let us law abiding citizens live in fear.
Got it. PLP All they way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

NSG, believe me, even with this factual table, there is no fighting (or understanding for that matter) ignorance or deliberate misrepresentation of facts by some. Tal, It's impossible to have an honest discussion with you. BTW, If you add the FNM and DNA votes, its represents more that half of the popular vote. Translation: PLP albeit the govt, but a minority govt (by %)

That is by far the DUMBEST thing I ever read. It was a KNOWN fact that the majority of the crimes were committed by repeat offenders on BAIL....so why is it a problem that REPEAT offenders are denied bail. "The FNM don't let criminals out of jail that's why it crowded" And the sad part is the same people who run on bout the FNM did nothing to try and prevent crime are going to agree with this nonsense! I mean YOU TAL RUSSEL...this is too dumb

Lady Pindling hits back over Sir Lynden 'endorsement' of Ingraham
I strongly beg to differ with Dame Marguerite Pindling on Sir Cecil choosing Mr. Christie as a successor because I was in an office in Freeport along with several others a couple days after the 87 election was stolen from us when the decision was made that Mr. Ingraham would join the FNM and become leader at the appropriate time.
We then flew Mr. Ingraham to Walkers Cay from which he took a boat to Grand Cay to discuss this decison with his supporters.
AND I AM DEAD SERIOUS!
