Isiah 1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgement: righetousness lodged in it: but now MURDERERS Thy silver is become dross (worthless). thy wine mixed with water (weak and impure). Isiah 1:23 THe princes (government) are rebellious, and companions of theives: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards (politicians are padding their pockets and taking bribes) They judge not for the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them (cries for justice for people who cannot defend themselves fall on deaf ears).
