Nurse’s trauma seeing patients die ‘all alone’
Bingo! Not to mention her showing off all of that personal protective gear that is in such short supply for the loyal and dutiful Bahamian nurses who are expected, under the most trying conditions, to help their fellow Bahamians who become infected with the Red China Virus and require hospitalization. Even right now the US government has greatly relaxed its visa restrictions for foreign medical doctors and foreign nurses as it seeks to poach these people from countries, like the Bahamas, which already have a most serious shortage of such trained medical personnel. She certainly seems to be soft-selling herself as a poster-girl for 'a come join me' campaign.

This what becomes a country that practically imports everything.

US call to halt Bahamian oil
The price of a barrel of oil nearly dipped below $4 today; less than the average price of a cup of coffee from Starbucks. Even bottled water per gallon costs much more! Yet Sir Snake still has us all paying the Shell Bahamas/FOCAL group that he controls a ridiculously high price per gallon at the gas pumps. Nothing but insatiable greed of the worst kind!

And people get angry at the police when they shoot 3 young thugs. These young thugs are creating harvoc on the streets and innocent people are made to suffer!
So sorry that you and your family had to experience this Sammy Star. We are better than this!

Doing so would wipe out more than half of our parliamentarians.

Independence! lol what a laugh!
Independent from what?
The thing we have as a result of independence is the ability to pick the leader, the leader is still taking orders from the real powers that be in this world.
The establishment, which people and organizations make it up might be debatable, but central banks, the imf, the world bank, the USA, the eu, the UN, etc etc etc have more say and control over the survival of our nation that you can imagine.
Our “leaders” simply do as they’re told, lest we want our whole country and economy to be shut out from the rest of the world, and our people starve.
Here’s how it works , our crooked ruling class throws out a couple of “potential leaders”, you vote to pick the criminal who will rob the nation blind, while also forcing the will of the real world ruling class on our nation.

Dollarisation must 'be on the table'
Why not move the Bahamas dollar to a BitCoin Bahamas Dollar so in other words all Bahamas Dollar are converted into BitCoin Bahamas Dollar with each physical note being backed by the holdings of the central bank being turned into BitCoin and then each physical dollar is some share of those BitCoin to enable paper money transactions to continue.
This has the benefit that as BitCoin rises over time so too does the value of a BitCoin Bahamas Dollar.
And it gives us something unique to market to international investors.
If the USD is going to slip over time why anchor to that, why not anchor to the future?
One BitCoin used to be worth $1, now it is worth $10,689
Who is the long term winner there? $1 USD or $10,689?
Future is BitCoin folks....

... most people can't figure out its not about Trump as much as it is about which of the two choices are better for America and the Bahamas.
A moron would be a person who chooses someone who acts presidential but has a 47 year record of failure and is in active cognitive decline, compared to a person who may not be presidential but gets results! But why be surprised, we have those here who still support the PLP!

The Bahamian CNN followers are so manipulated by them. You can tell a follower, listen to them speak. The first words that come out of their mouths are Bigot, xenophobic, racist etc. They repeat what CNN says.

Central Bank targets pilot digital currency
No, it won't. The blockchain is a decentralized system, and the Central Bank is, ahem, a centralized one. They are diametrically opposite conceptually, and practically. Blockchain tech is designed to completely replace and remove centralized fractional reserve banking as a person-to-person transactional network. A central bank cannot produce a decentralized digital currency - the nearest it can get is a shared private ledger, which is essentially a clearing system (RTGCS) which should have been in place 20 years ago.
If the Minister of Finance thinks that, or the Governor of the Central Bank, they don't understand the basics of the banking system, or finance, or accounting, or anything the job entails.
Blockchain certifications? A single point of entry to reduce corruption? What idiocy is this?
