How ironic the very entrepreneurs that can't get the same tax breaks and subsidiaries as there larger counterparts are supposed to help jumpstart the tourism economy, Now, maybe, our governments will finally see and understand how much more important our local entrepreneurs are to the economies survival and invest in them honestly and truly.

Very sad indeed. Why does the government not take the loss of lives on the road as seriously as the loss of lives from Covid?

The fix may already be in if Minnis has steered this court case to Justice Winder who somehow ends up hearing just about every case that could possible cause serious damage of any kind to a sitting government, whether of the PLP or FNM persuasion. We all remember just how instrumental Justice Winder was in looking after Vomit Christie, Baltron "Bag Man" Bethel and The Wicked Witch of The West Maynard-Gibson in The Baha Mar ownership matter.

And just think, as bad as KP Turnquest has proven to be in handling our country's finances, Minnis is probably relishing the idea of replacing him with someone like Brent symonette or Dionisio D'Aguilar. LOL

As for the rest stuff that is far beyond my legal payscale but lookin' me like the sacked comrade KP is obviously as guilty as sin of liftin' the words of another substantive, sacked redcoat cabinet colleague and restating them as to be's his original thoughtin' - I go quietly, for now, - doesn't mean I won't have more words to say about things uttered and made about and against me.Shakehead once for upyeahvote, thoughtin' of others can translate into most serious set charges, twice for not?

Your ignorance must be so blissful. And It certainly does serve to explain the sad state of affairs our country is in today thanks to the warped attitude many like yourself have towards rife corruption at all senior official levels within our political system.

Now this is what you call a wholesale cut ass.....and what is so sad... is that it is the truth! I have no idea why we are saddled with this relic ...as an attorney general.... while he is not as self serving as our immediate past AG, he is as destructive. He has no skin in the Minnis game and appears set to destroy anyone whose life's work comes across his desk.

This arrogant elitest FNM governments first failure of the people occurred when totally ignored The Bahamas Gaming Bill 2014, section 73. Part XIII Responsible Gaming Capter 37:Measures to promote Responsible Gaming 109-174.

This government ignores Bahamas laws and scorns its own as little pesky FLEAS only looking out for the filthy rich or who can feather their pillow off the ignorance of the masses. There is no National Gambling Council (NGC) as in all nations. They are afraid for some reason or bribed out of taking action. Gaming houses are allowed to host their own rehabilitation at gaming venue sites, and create their own help pamphlets. Gaming Houses the world over are forced by caring governments to fund Gaming Addiction help initiatives and theopy services. Not here. Gambling Self Management as opposed to institutionalization was found to work best in most instances if a problem gambler is open first of all to receive help. In our cramped society it is inconceivable for persons of all strata seeking help and their business gets on the street. As the first casualty of gamblers is dishonesty and stigma. Anticipation money gain values of gambling hard wires - like Cocaine - the spirit, body, soul and mind of the gambler. World Psychological Associations has deemed gambling level DSM-5. I am a member of the Canadian Public Health Association CPHA with Certification in Cannabas, Certification from Canadian Problem Gambling Certification Board, Sandilands zoom Gambling Addiction contributor, Canadian Addiction Counselors Certification Federation - Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment, in contact with International Gambling Counselor Certification Board (IGCCB) Spiritual Outreach Code of Ethical Conduct, Bellevue University - Certificate Advanced Older Adults & Gambling, Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre 37 years cocaine Addiction survivor, author of Bahamian books on addictions and recovery. In four years I have had zero response from gov. Gambling addiction does not exist and is not real in their world after knocking on the doors of D'Aguilar, Gaming Board of The Bahamas Social Services and others. This gov just on cloud nine. According to Bahamas Central Bank, Gaming houses made 2billion dollars with zero spent on public education and addiction recovery. The USA Government sent Bahamians abroad also to assist our FNM gambling epidemic that engulfed us first before Hurricane Dorian and Covid. This gov beckons on societal economic criminality. All votes against Perry for legalizing gambling though the church and nation voted no to it will back to the PLP or our non rich or grassroots DNA. My FNM with the nasty Marijuana depical has shown us it is the party of pro rich only with us as their money slaves. At the out most, PLP allowed money to leak to the poor. The white UBP was better with the black poor than this elitist black gov. The worstist in Bahamian history.

Is Minnis as Minister of Finance really telling the IMF, the Auditor-General and the Bahamian people that he does not know or his Attorney-General cannot find out for him the names of the beneficial owners of companies that received pandemic contracts funded by the $250m IMF loan? Talk about lack of transparency born out of corruption!

ThisIsOurs 3 years ago on A TEARFUL FAREWELL: Emotional Minnis rules out running for FNM leadership

Leaders dont get to pick and chose the adversity that faces them, nor do they get a crystal ball to prepare for the specific challenge

I am sick of hearing we've never done this before. FNM forget "young" as a criteria, please find someone who been through some stuff and knows how to battle adversity

Leaders never get to say life wasnt fair and you had an easier time than me. Its expected that as leader you have the intelligence and wisdom to handle the "ordinary" and greater intelligence and wisdom to galvanize a crack team to help you fight the extraordinary.

Dr Minnis' greatest failure was that he had zero interest in having talented people around him. He wanted FNM and he wanted absolute loyalty. He even went a step further he attempted to starve talent. Hence Renward Wells to oversee the greatest challenge we have ever faced in 2000 years.

He did bring this on himself

The FNM, sadly, is back, Lost in the wilderness of multiple political tragedies. Still not accepting responsibility for all of its failures and still not understanding that it's your core support base that is the bridge that will build the rescue plan from a life of wandering lost in the pitiful wilderness of political failures and shame.

The Brave/Chester team will do its best to lock the gates of any FNM return; in what I can estimate, the gate will remain closed until the FNM rebrand with new faces and faces that didn't remind supporters of the disastrous failures and missed opportunities of the Minnis Administration.

As the Bahamas turns its direction to its 50th anniversary and as the world continues to evolve, the Bahamas will be placed in the limelight, attracting investment, creating jobs and innovations. The Brave/Chester team will move our country to a realm that makes the sad complaint from voices lost deep in a wilderness of political tragedies; silent thumps in the darkness of night that no one hears.
