There are more room lights on at Baha Mar than there are at Melia. How many 'tourists' are staying at the Baha Mar??? LOL!

1 why is Tom Dunlap evening talking and inserting himself into the specifics of the Pointe? If he wants to make sideline comments about what he and Baha Mar went through, so be it, but sticking his nose in the heart of the matter and insisting that there be more transparency and makes a call about what and how things should be reported......stop trying to make himself relevant and go away..... #2 calling out what and how Mr. Leslie Pindling, director of external affairs for The Pointe, shares information is so inappropriate and quite ironic and an insult to intelligence when Baha Mar's version in Sandy Sands could rarely make statements that contained even one sentence of truth....the amount of contradictions and flat out flip flopping and lying that came out of his mouth on behalf of Baha mar was a joke!

Comrade "Sherlock Homes" ReverendRichLive of Tolls. In fact Paradise Island Bridge is but 600 feet in length from end to end. The New York Bridge crossing over to New Jersey is 5280 feet. Toll cost to cross over from New York is $15. If Paradise Island Bridge had been longer @ 5280 feet you would be paying a toll fee to cross over from Nassau to Paradise Island of $17.50

only in the Bahamas do taxes go up not 5 or 6 percent, but 100 percent without even a wink or public consultation or explanation in fact. this is a dictatorship disguised as a democracy.

I'm surprised the prison bus slowed down enough to where he could get out of it without hurting himself...those prison bus conveys are reckless menaces.

The fact is when this government came to power I suggested that they continue with the road improvement works and other infrastructural works, not only in New Providence but in the major family islands to get some people back to work. But look around our roads are in caves and all the other major infrastructure are in disrepair. Yet they brag about how much more VAT they are collecting than they expected. Where is the extra money going? They have contracted private companies to patch the roads but the patches fall in decay even before the repair work is complete. Carmichael road is over congested. Why not make that into four lanes like Prince Charles and put hundreds of Bahamian men to work for at least two years? What about sending teams to the family islands that were damaged by the hurricane to do road works and other infrastructure? The fact is that every person who is unemployed will have a college degree and some may not have completed high school, but these people too need jobs. They are the ones who drive the economy because when they have money they spend it immediately and put it back in the economy. Rather than built one great big colossal project like Bah Mar, Jamaica is investing 2.5 billion in six hotel properties. Each hotel will have no more than 500 rooms and each will have its own attractions and special features. Unlike Bah Mar, the majority workers on all the projects will be local Jamaicans.

Good the escapee is back policeman's custody. The policeman's would be well advised to send a copy of this photo as proof of his capture over to Comrade Justice Bernard who ordered prison authorities to present themselves to the court to explain the absence of murder convict Ormand from his scheduled sentencing hearing. (Oh how I wish i had just made that juicy up).
Hopefully, this time the Justice judge will order the policeman's to take me up on my suggestion, not to put him back on the prison bus but hand Ormand the $1.25 cash fare to catch the #10 Fox Hill Bus, that will safely get him to the bus stop right in front prison.

So the only reason this is making news is because it's near PI and the tourists!? Always fretting about tourists while others live in filth. Disgusting mentality!

Have some decency Bahamian people, and stop littering and dumping your filth ANYWHERE on the island. Geez!

You cram almost 4,000 people into a tight space and unfortunately these things can happen. Cruise ships stress to passengers relentlessly about using the hand sanitizer stations and hygiene, but sometimes it just happens. Lather rinse repeat...
