I got no problem with the Boards being comprised almost entirely of PLP's but should the country suffer from the desire to reward your friends and punish your enemies?? Godrey Eneas is a great Bahamian but does he need to be on four boards? Phil Galanis is great choice on the trade commission but who are the others and what are they qualified to do?? - These are serious appointments and our failure to insist on using the best Bahamians available to us is a mistake that will soon bear fruit

Execution if the dismissal: The manner of the dismissal cannot be overlooked. The individual(s) who handled the dismissal should be fired because of incompetence or failure to execute his/her/their job properly. The fallout could have been minimized. The fallout is expensive (cost to reputations). Unfortunately, the callous way the situation was handled, the lack of respect, and ridicule (rather than sympathy) for the employees of the Urban Renewal by the Progressive Liberal Party agents have exacerbated this incident.

Same Old P L P up to their same old dirty ways. Nothing has changed with these guys. They only know how to govern the way they have always done - divide and conquer. They always take care of their own, and no one else. The various appointments of consultants and board chairs are nothing more than paybacks. It took a massive amount of money for the PLP to mount a successful political campaign. Those gold t-shirts, posters, buttons, etc. cost a lot of dollars (not including the dollars that were folded inside of them). Now they have to pay the piper. These donors have to be rewarded. Nothing more, nothing less.

Stameko 12 years, 5 months ago on Roberts declines to explain Water and Sewerage plans

It is unbelievable that the chairman of a public corporation who is accountable to the public would advise a member of the press to piece together WSCs plans from press archives and a political manifesto! This merely suggests to me that there is no plan.

This was a very disappointing response from yet another decrepit PLP. However, for some reason I am not surprised.

they could use the 200,000 they are paying Baltron Bethell and James Smith to be consultants to the ministry of finance ....J Smith was in the paper every week talking finance ,why does the taxpayer now have to pay him for what he blabbed about for free

what kind of stupid decisions that is? whats the sense of leaving the roads frig up all that would ddo is cause a more severe traffic problem. Mr Ingraham might of spent allot of money accompanying the road projects and it might of taken a long time but look at the end result at least you can truly say where the roads was fixed traffic moves. but leaving it un finished just makes no sense.
