I do not know why people are worried about the white vote that accounts for maybe 5% of ALL votes. The white boogyman is going to come from under your bed and steal and election? Also I will bet that there are far more Bahamian black millionairs than Bahamian white millionairs in this day and age. I will also bet that anyone under 40 black or white really does not care about race, we care about more important things like our FUTURE, JOBS, SAFETY, and OUR COUNTRY! Leave the race bullshit with the half dead gray hairs that can't get over the past!

Minnis, for the sake of country, please step down from your post and go back into medicine full time. I am so sick of hearing and seeing this man. He has no vision, he is NOT sincere and history will not be kind to him if he causes the FNM to lose the next election.

So Dr. Minnis you can count, but what is your solution.

You have yet to say anything that has impressed me. I see absolutely no reason to vote for the FNM at this time.

If Stellar's CFO is a foreigner convicted of stealing from Bahamians why are they even being entertained?

HUNDREDS of disgruntled residents

Correction - well over a thousand at final count. And 100% peaceful too.

Now we need those numbers out for anti-corruption marches, FOI marches, women's rights marches, domestic abuse marches and every other issue this country faces.

i agree with Publius - the coverage could have been much better. the media have drones - they could have attempted aerial footage. they could have found out the true number before guessing themselves - there were many "people" counters and even the police i believe estimated close to 1500 - so between 1000 and 1500 were there. this was a momentous and meaningful event in the Bahamas and to be so downplayed by the media is sad. i was there and friends were there and so many people indicated this was one of the most important things they had ever done and felt like they finally could be heard.

The truth is in the chromosomes. If your chromosomes and DNA say you are a guy, and you dress and act like a woman, you are a freak. Or a lady with a periscope, if you pardon the joke. Yes, the best thing to do would be flying somewhere where your conduct is tolerated, or even encouraged. I wish I had you as far as possible from home

I am all for equal rights...men, women, or whomever should be allowed to enter into marital contracts with whomever they chose and enjoy the same civil liberties that everyone else has.

What they seem to want is to become a protected class. However, being transgender is a choice regardless if the person feels it's their 'truth' or not. Only hermaphrodites and similar conditions are scientifically proven, but most transgenders are not that. Therefore, if a 6'+ man decides to wear a skirt, heels, make-up and expect to land a secretarial type job...he is delusional.

Society should not be forced to play along with anyone's delusions. I personally would not hire him for the same reason I would not hire a scantily clad woman with her breasts exposed, visible tattoos, etc. because I'm running a business, not a side show.

Dear Tribune, can you please change the picture to something more appealing? I don't want to see this anymore than I want to see a man in a speedo, or two men kissing!

I have never known a political party more likely to shoot themselves in the foot than this STUPID, JUVENILE, DISORGANIZED, PETTY MINDED, SELF DESTROYING FNM!!!!!

STOP FLAPPING YOUR LOOSE LIPS!!!

Where the hl is the the Party's leadership and what the fk do they think they are doing!!!!

For once Bradley is correct! The FNM have lost all relevance and credibility and have managed, with their petty in-fighting, to lose the next election that an opposition party comprised of well organized Muppets could easily have won!!!!!
