Color red is really on the move. The Red Splash event was simple awesome. The FNM has the momentum and have solidified themselves as the people's government.

Who are worthy of Debate? Debate because its the United States way? These fellows don't have anything constructive to say. When they do, maybe in 5 years a Bahamian Political Debate can take place. Can you imagine the Chaos. Papa, You have treated 'them' with the contempt they deserve.

Soon it will be all over and we can get back to managing the Country in a direction for ALL its Citizens.

please philosopher king...dont allow your dislike for an individual or party or policy make a fool out of you. "Children of African descent" and what is Mr Ingraham, dear sir pray tell??? I always tell my children "if you are smart be proud to show it off" because fool seems to glory in foolishess. I invite you sir in all your wisdom and audacity to find local investors to replace the foriegn investors, put your money power where your mouth power is!!!! Enough of the nonsensical talking.

Any party who tells the Bahamian people they will not seek out foriegn investors or get loans from the World Bank or others, is lying to the people. Without knowing the actualities of the accounts Mr. Christie already stated that he will have to borrow $300 Million when he comes to power (like we fool, to make the same mistake twice!), child please!

I PROMISE YOU MR. P. KING THAT IF THE DNA HAD THE NUMBER THEY WOULD HAVE THEIR SUPPORTERS AT A RALLEY JUMPING UP AND DOWN TOO. THEY TRIED IT IN CARMICHAEL AT THE SOUTH SHORES HQ OPENING AND LESS THAN 400 PERSONS WERE THERE AND THEY HAD A MINI MINI RALLEY. THE CANDIDATES SPOKE FOR 3-5 MINS AND THE LEADER SPOKE FO 1HOUR 10MINS. REPEATING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER, SCREAMING FOR PAPA TO RING THE BELL AND MAKE FACES IN AN EFFORT TO CONTROL HIS RAGE. IT WAS CARRIED LIVE ON TV.

THE DNA IS NOT A BAD IDEA IT IS JUST NOT ORGANIZED AND HAVING GREAT DIFFICULTIES KEEPING UP IN THE NUMBER GAME - FINANCIAL AND SUPPORTERS. THE DNA LEADER IS QUICKLY BECOMING THE PARTY'S LIABILITY AND THEIR FACEBOOK PAPER WHOEVER IS ADMINISTRATING IS NEEDS TO DO FACT CHECKING ESPECIALLY WITH DATES AND TIME LINES.

MY OTHER MAJOR CONCERN IS HOW THEY ARE SO NEGATIVE AGAINST THE ELDERLY...IT MIGHT BE THEIR VIEW THAT IT IS TIME TO REPLACE MR. INGRAHAM AND MR. CHRISTIE BUT TO KEEP REFERRING TO THEIR AGE IS NOT GONNA HELP THEM...IT IS NOT GOOD TO CREATE THAT KIND OF VIBE IN THEIR PARTY WHICH IS ATTRACTING THE YOUNG, BECAUSE THEY MIGHT ADOPT THE SAME...AND GOD HELP US MORE IF THEY DO!

Really, people, I'm a dog lover (look at my profile pic) and I don't get this fuss. It's just spray pain that will wear right off - it doesn't hurt or anything. Might be a bit tacky, I suppose, but no more than that. Given how so many dogs get treated in this country, this is hardly anything to raise a fuss about. How do you know the dog wasn't an FNM in the first place? Mine is!

Seriously, Sister Leader? Tourism is our life blood and you want to go all Taliban on tourists, making them 'cover up'? What, do you think we live in Saudi Arabia? Private establishments are free to enforce a dress code. As long as people are not topless or naked on Bay Street, I could care less what they are wearing. If it offends you, stay off of Bay Street, you prude.

@TalRussell, you remind me of the comedic Iraqi Minister of Information during the second Gulf War, who as the Americans had already toppled Saddam's statue and were eminently marching on Baghdad went on TV providing comedy shouting quotes like " I triple guarantee you there are no American soliders within 100 miles of Baghdad. "We have them surrounded in their tanks" and "We will roast their stomachs". He was always a good laugh during that war. Likewise, your comedic posts have provided us with good laughs during this election, because you can't be serious.

Why do you all dignify Tal Russell's silly, child-like rants, by commenting on them. Obviously this ignorant and mis-guided P L P would go away if simply ignored. In a few hours, Bahamians, of all stripes and colours, will march to the polls and make their voices known. Either they will voice approval of the advancements our country has seen over the last five years, or fall victim to the empty rhetoric of the opposition party who did nothing during their term in offices, but now promise to take us all to the moon and beyond. May God bless the Commonwealth of The Bahamas!

PLP's are so predictably blinded by the brainwashing they've been subject to for the past 45 years. This is no time to be still worshipping the Pindling's and the elitist PLP entitlement culture. We've been brought into the light since 1992 - THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C_MonMan 12 years, 6 months ago on Oil licences spark debate

Like they say in poker, BPC goes "All in" and in essence has converted it's legal position with respect to their belief that once certain condition precedents are met their licence renewal is automatic to a political position. I predict the government would refute renewing such licences momentarily and then BPC would have successfully foisted itself front and center in these elections.

Don't know who is advising them, but my guess is that they are hoping that this upsets the equilibrium and make a PLP victory more likely. For their sake, they better hope that they are right.

One should educate him/herself to the purpose of editorials before passing judgements on to the writer or the paper in which the article/opinion is written. Maybe those of you who feel insulted should stick to reading papers like the journal and Bahamas Press - they are pro PLP

kjosey 12 years, 6 months ago on Bahamas has lost a great leader

What appears to be missing in most of the previous comments made is how truly ungrateful the largest majority of Bahamians are. We are an unfortunate nation whose sense of entitlement remains a resonating and crippling factor in the decsions we make, as well as what we expect from our politcians. The number of self made Bahamian success stories are in the minority in this country. Few and far in between. Maybe it's time for the Good Lord to show us how ungrateful a people we are; and thus gives us exactly what we deserve and not the unfair Favor we have always undeservingly recieved.
